A reunion has been announced for April 2, 2010 for missionaries that served under President Wallis. The following letter contains the details.
Dear Missionaries,
It is time to plan and prepare for another great North Carolina Raleigh Mission reunion. This will be on Friday, April 2 at the same place as last October. This is the Friday before General Conference begins. Here are the details:
Date: Friday, April 2, 2010
Location: Sandy Crescent North Stake Center . 1050 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah
Time: 6:00 p.m. visiting, 7:00 Dinner (Café Rio), 8:00 program and video presentation
Sister Wallis and I are anxious to see each of you again. We love living in Cincinnati but we do miss not living close enough to join in on homecomings, marriages, and other special events. At least twice a year we can see you at these wonderful reunions. We do hope you can attend.
We continue to miss North Carolina. We miss the members, the missionaries, the warm weather (we have just experienced the most snow Cincinnati has had in years) and the friendly people. We also miss the daily spiritual experiences, the miracles, and the feeling of purpose from doing the work of the Lord. I am sure you share many of these same feelings.
Please circle April 2nd on your calendar and join us for a wonderful evening. We will again have dinner provided by Café Rio ($8 per person) and a short program including a video presentation put together by Ruben Vilorio. Please send 3-4 pictures to Ruben by March 24th so he can compile another terrific video (rubvilorio [at] gmail [dot] com).
